Time to Give Thanks

Thanksgiving, broken down: Thanks Giving. Today is a day that is celebrated all around the United States as a time for families to get together, share a meal, and spend time with one another. But I have been thinking about it for the past few days, and I really feel that I should be more thankful for what I have, no matter what is going on in my life. We are so blessed, yet I think we forget that most of the time and take many things for granted. I think that we need the spirit behind Thanksgiving throughout the whole year rather than just the third Thursday of November.

Throwback Thursday: Ate Arlene’s Debut

Back in 2001 my Ate Arlene had her Debutante Ball with all her family and friends to celebrate her 18th birthday. I as with other family members made up part of her Court of Honor. This is the whole court for her debut in this picture. It was fun and brought me closer to my family, while also allowing me to get to know Ate Michelle more. We never did do that reunion haha.

Throwback Thursday: Allen and Chad

So I was at the gym with my friend Krystle and Dustin as we made an impromptu workout session to prepare for brunch on Sunday, and I bump into two old friends from the high school days. I first bumped into Chad then he pointed out that Allen was also there at the gym as well. So with that happening Tuesday, I had to find a picture with them in it for my Throwback Thursday picture.

Throwback Thursday: PCN Board 2008

At Cal State Long Beach there is an annual performance held by the Pilipino American Coalition called Pilipino Cultural Night. It’s a night full of storytelling, dance, and tradition that celebrates the Filipino culture. Back in 2008, I was part of PCN Board which helped plan, organize, and run the annual event for hundreds of people that come each year to watch.
