Keep It Going! Week 1 Finished!

Weigh in Weekend!

I weighed myself this weekend on Sunday morning and my weight that morning was 170.8 lbs. Thats a little bit more than 6 lbs lost since I weighed in on the night of April 30th. I think the thing that has been helping the most is cutting out all the random snacking I was doing at work, whether it was buying a cookie or if coworkers brought in junk food for everyone.

Day 6 Results

Breakfast
6-inch Italian BMT with lettuce, tomato, and pickles

Lunch
Chicken breast sandwich – half
Watermelon, grapes, and honeydew

Dinner
Chicken breast sandwich – half

Workout – Walk
Sundays are Disney Walk days. Every Sunday Jeannie and I go to Disneyland and the time we spend walking around the park looking for Disney Pins is our casual exercise for the day. We walked around the park for 3 miles today.

Day 7 Results

Breakfast
Scrambled Eggs

Lunch
Pork chop with onions cooked in soy sauce with rice
Spring mix salad with balsamic vinigrette

Dinner
Penne pasta with marinara and ground beef

Workout – Run
Today I did a short 2.11 mile run which felt really good. My legs are starting to feel better as I run and I am not getting as tired when I run as when I used to. I am going to try and continue improving and running further and longer. One of the things I will need to do is get some new running shoes though. Time to look for a new pair, any suggestions?
